Study of bimanual coordination in healthy subjects

This project investigates the neurophysiological bases of bimanual coordination in healthy subjects. To this aim, we are using modern neuromodulation techniques, such as Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) and consolidated behavioural research paradigms (Kelso paradigm and bimanual coupling tasks). We are also investigating the role of motor imagery in bimanual coordination. This project is in collaboration with Prof. Luigi Pizzamiglio and Prof. Grazia Spitoni, University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
